Hillview Resource Centre is a community development organisation and as such all of our work is conducted with the following principles in mind: Social Inclusion; participation; collective action/solidarity; anti-poverty; equality; empowerment & leadership and working in partnership with others.
Working with Schools
Hillview Family Resource Centre (FRC) links with two local secondary school, Ballinteer Community School (BCS) and Wesley College Dublin, working in partnership with Green Committees, home school liaison officers and teachers to organize community clean ups and offer supervision and inductions for Transition Year work experience and summer camps.
Increasing skills in the community is also an essential part of community development (capacity building) and we work with partners organisations e.g. other Family Resource Centre’s, Tusla Social Work Team, Belong To, Health Service Executive (HSE), Education & Training Board (ETB), Barnardos, DLR Children & Young People Service Committee (CYPSC), Tusla Family Support and Crosscare Youth Service, plus more!
