Hillview Resource Centre will be working in partnership with the National FRC Mental Health Promotion Project and the Health Services Executive on a number of training, awareness, and development initiatives in Ballinteer in line with ‘Connecting for Life’, Ireland National Strategy to Reduce Suicide (2015-2020). Hillview will adopt the national FRC Code of Conduct as a governing good practice document.
Counselling service for individuals experiencing a range of life challenges e.g. bereavement; anxiety; childhood trauma and relationship. Clients are asked to make a weekly contribution toward their session of up to €30 (where possible). Who to Call: Project Manager on 087 117 3475.
If you are living with domestic, sexual, gender based violence you can call Hillview Resource Centre who will be able to link you in with an organisation who will be able to assist you. All support is confidential and meetings will happen off site. Call: 087 195 7419.

’13 Reasons Why’ Toolkit for young people, parents and services: The website has been created by a coalition of international experts, led by Dr Dan Reidenberg, to inform young people, parents, and services working with young people who may view the Netflix series. Take a look at the attached: Expert Statement from SAVE. In addition to this young people researched a useful link in relation to suicide prevention.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is available at the Centre. We work with people at risk of suicide and their families. If you need someone to talk to call Katie on 087 195 7419.
