Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) is a programme aimed at parents with children displaying violent or aggressive behaviour. NVR involves a number of steps in order to resolve and prevent conflict in the home and reduce escalation of negative behaviour(s). Workshops require a commitment from parents over a minimum of six weeks in a peer support, confidential and experiential environment.

Session 2: Establishing a Support Network
Session 3: Parental Presence and how to spend more time nurturing the relationship with your child
Session 4: The Announcement and tools to assist you in revisiting violence or aggressive behaviour
Session 5: Acts of Reconciliation with your child to encourage a more positive interaction
Session 6: Refusing Orders, Breaking Taboos and the Sit-In, through rebalancing family life and positively influencing your child
